Bricks made the traditional way

Banded Wirecut

Banded Wirecut is an orange solid machine made brick with distinctive, characterful pale banding across the faces.

Found predominantly in the Midlands and North of England, these extruded wirecut bricks were commonly used throughout the Victorian era.

These popular bricks are metric size with a 73mm imperial height. This hybrid size is greatly beneficial for new builds and extension work, ensuring your brick courses match up to traditional imperial size bricks, while conveniently aligning with modern blocks and lintels.

Available in a hybrid imperial/metric size, F2 rated for frost resistance and manufactured to BS EN 771-1.
