WHAT IS BRICK MATCHING?
The bricks you choose to extend or renovate with will dictate the overall look of your property. No one wants unsightly brick colours or sizes which do not match, so that’s where we come in.
We offer a free brick matching service where our team of experts will suggest the most suitable brick to match your existing brickwork, and will even visit the site directly if needed. You will then receive samples of the bricks to make sure they match perfectly.
It’s that simple.
HOW DO I REQUEST A BRICK MATCH?
Requesting a brick match with us is easy, just follows the 3 steps below.
Step 1 – Photographs
We need to assess photographs of the existing bricks which you need to match, the best way to do this is to take at least two photographs of them.
The first photograph should be taken approximately 10 feet away from the wall.
This gives us a good representation of the colour of the bricks and any weathering which may have occurred over time.
The second photograph should be taken close-up.
This helps us to determine the type of brick you require.
Step 2 – Size
Measure the width and height of the brick in millimeters (mm) and make a note of the size.
Step 3 – Email
Once we receive your request, we will contact you to recommend a brick which will match, or offer the best possible alternative.
BRICK MATCH EXAMPLES
Take a look at these previous building projects which required brick matching to repair and extend them.
Masters House is a grade II listed property which underwent an extension and significant restoration work to the original features. Our imperial size Country Blend bricks were selected to sensitively infill and repair the existing areas and extend the property.
This listed former hospital site underwent a significant redevelopment to create spacious family homes using our Soft Red bricks. The imperial size handmade bricks provided an indistinguishable brick match which retained the Victorian appearance and blended the original areas with the new.
