Hoofield Hall Barns | Cheshire

Project Scope: Redevelopment of Grade II listed barns

Project Industry: Extension/Renovation, Residential

Hoofield Hall Barns comprise of six elegant Grade II listed barn conversions within a traditional courtyard overlooking the historic Hoofield Hall. Formerly an arable and dairy farm, the superbly-appointed development offers beautiful new homes within a tranquil setting.

A sensitive approach was required for the restoration of the buildings. Imperial Bricks worked closely with award-winning developer Cheshire Barn Homes and local conservation officers to supply a blend of bricks which would not only match the original structures for infill and repair work, but also enable the newly constructed elements to preserve the rural character of the development.

Imperial sized Olde Reclamation Clamp handmade bricks were chosen for their ability to offer an attractive reclaimed look. The courtyard walls were completed with Reclamation Soft Red Copings for a traditional, aged appearance.

“Imperial Bricks provide a very accurate brick matching service which allows us to blend in with the existing brickwork. The brick range is very good and turnaround time and service is excellent. We have a fantastic relationship with our Sales Manager, and there aren’t many people who know their bricks as well as he does – and is always happy to make site visits!”

The project has been shortlisted for the North West LABC Building Excellence Awards 2018.

Please note this brick is being superseded with our Olde Reclamation Shire handmade bricks.
